This painting is sold however there is a limited edition print available. 

'Friends in low places' a Garth Brooks song, was the inspiration behind this series of works. The song is full of exciting scenes and images so I decided to pick it apart and illustrate the song verse by verse according to my own interpretation.

'Blame it all on my roots' portrays the main character hiding her roots under her cowboy hat. Roots could also be interpreted other ways however I was drawn towards the satirical element.
